I wrote this song "Turn My Heart" in April of 2024. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFL5WQsXLr0 It is about the struggles that some might go through as a Christian. When I backslide in my faith, I find no relief until I repent and turn to God. If we confess our sins , he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins , and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) Oh that He would turn my heart every day.  God Bless You.   

  The brazen serpent on a pole.     Often I have considered the Bible's passage about this serpent on a pole.  (Numbers 21:8) Israel had sinned against God and the Lord sent fiery serpents to them. Many were bitten died. God had Moses make this brass serpent on the pole. God healed them through Moses by having him raise the pole with the serpent and when they looked upon it they were healed. Jesus explained to Nicodemus that he must be lifted up as the serpent on the pole was lifted up. (John 3:14,15) He who knew no sin became sin for us on the cross. (2 Cor 5:21) How amazing it is to me that God paints a picture of redemption for us in Christ Jesus back in the days of Moses. We need to be healed and forgiven from sin and God has provided for that healing and forgiveness through our Lord Jesus Christ. Have a great day! Glory to God!

 Hello, May your day be filled with joy and happiness. I am joyful yet sad each time this day comes around. My mother passed away on this day 48 years ago. My daily devotional was very explicit in relationship to God's purpose and plans for us.   It was primarily a discussion about predestination. John MacArthur explains how God took the initiative in relationship to our salvation. He shared scripture related to the fact of how God chooses us: Ephesians 1:4 Romans 3:11 1 Corinthians 2:14 Ephesians 2:1 2 Corinthians 4:4 Ephesians 4:18 John 6:44 2 Timothy 8,9 At the end of the devotional, recommended reading was suggested from:  Ezekiel 36:22-32 That is a very powerful portion of scripture. God definitely saves us for His divine purpose. He loves us. God bless you..

 Hello, I am just getting started again on blogger.  I plan to focus my posts/blogs on faith and music at this site. I have faith in my savior, the Lord Jesus Christ and enjoy reading and discussing the bible.
