God's divine purpose

My daily devotional was very explicit in relationship to God's purpose and plans for us.

 

It was primarily a discussion about predestination.

John MacArthur explains how God took the initiative in relationship to our salvation.

He shared scripture related to the fact of how God chooses us:

Ephesians 1:4

Romans 3:11

1 Corinthians 2:14

Ephesians 2:1

2 Corinthians 4:4

Ephesians 4:18

John 6:44

2 Timothy 8,9

At the end of the devotional, recommended reading was suggested from: 

Ezekiel 36:22-32

That is a very powerful portion of scripture.

God definitely saves us for His divine purpose.

He loves us.
